Can the EA13 drive passive speakers?

Yes. It provides 4-ohm and 8-ohm speaker outputs and up to 28W + 28W at 8 ohms. Actual results depend on speaker sensitivity, impedance, room size and listening level.

Can I use headphones with the EA13?

Yes. The front panel includes a 6.35mm single-ended headphone output.

How many sources can I connect?

Yes. After 30 minutes without an input signal, the EA13 automatically enters low-power standby to reduce energy use and help extend tube life.

Is slight VU-meter pointer misalignment normal?

Yes. A deviation of up to ±1mm at the zero position, including slight left/right misalignment when returning to zero, is within normal manufacturing tolerance and does not affect use.

Tube markings may show slight blurring, fading, discoloration or partial wear due to production-batch variation, storage and natural oxidation. This is normal for vacuum tubes and does not affect performance or sound quality.
