FiiO Q15 Portable Desktop-Class DAC & Headphone Amplifier
The "Mini Q7" has arrived. The FiiO Q15 bridges the gap between portable dongles and massive desktop amplifiers. Designed for the audiophile who refuses to compromise on power while traveling, the Q15 packs a staggering 1600mW of output power and AKM's flagship decoding architecture into a device that is roughly the size of a smartphone.
Flagship AKM "Velvet Sound" Separation
AK4191EQ + AK4499EX Combination
The Q15 features the latest flagship digital-analog separation technology from AKM. By using the AK4191EQ for digital processing and the AK4499EX for analog conversion, the Q15 achieves an incredibly low noise floor and the signature "Velvet Sound"—natural, organic, and highly resolving. This is the same DAC architecture found in high-end desktop units like the K9 AKM.
Desktop Mode & Independent Power
Unleash the beast. The Q15 features a dedicated Desktop Mode switch and a separate USB-C power port (labeled "POWER IN"). When connected to a PD fast charger, the Q15 bypasses its internal battery and runs on external power, delivering up to 1600mW (Balanced) to drive even the most demanding planar magnetic headphones.
Smart Design, Modern Connectivity
Full-Color IPS Display
Stop guessing your settings. The Q15 is equipped with a vibrant 1.3-inch full-color IPS display. View your sampling rate, volume, battery status, and input mode clearly. The display orientation even rotates automatically if you flip the device, thanks to the built-in gravity sensor.
Global Parametric EQ (PEQ)
Tailor the sound to your exact preference. The Q15 supports 7 preset EQ modes and 3 customizable PEQ presets. Whether using Bluetooth or USB mode, the proprietary algorithm ensures precise frequency adjustment without audible distortion.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Q15 and Q7?
The Q7 is the absolute flagship—it is much larger, heavier (620g vs 305g), and more powerful (3000mW vs 1600mW). The Q15 is designed to be a "portable" version of the Q7—much easier to carry in a pocket or bag while still offering near-desktop performance.
Does it drain my phone's battery?
The Q15 has a "Phone Mode" switch on the bottom. When enabled, it runs strictly off its own internal 5500mAh battery, ensuring it won't drain your smartphone.
Can I charge it and listen at the same time?
Yes. The Q15 has two USB-C ports: one for Data/Charge and one for dedicated Power. Using the dedicated Power port activates Desktop Mode and bypasses the battery for charging, reducing heat and battery wear.
