    Does the BTR7 support inline microphones on headphones?

    The BTR7 supports CTIA standard inline controls (play/pause/volume) on the 3.5mm jack, but for voice calls, it utilizes its own built-in high-quality microphone with noise cancellation.

    Can I use it while charging?

    Yes. The BTR7 has a dedicated "Charge" switch. You can toggle charging off to use it as a USB dongle powered by your phone, or toggle it on to charge while listening.

    Is it powerful enough for planar headphones?

    With 320mW of balanced power, the BTR7 can drive portable planar headphones (like FiiO FT5) and most dynamic headphones (up to 150Ω) very well. For 300Ω+ headphones, we recommend a desktop amp like the K7.

    connect to the previously used device, letting you

    Charging Protection

    Ifyou charge the BTR7 when using it as a wired decoder
    for long periods oftime, you can enable the charging
    protection function to protect the battery. After turning
    on this function, the battery will stop charging when
    reaching 80% full, and will only start charging once the
    battery goes below 20% full. No need to worry about
    battery health when using the BTR7.

    Balanced Boost

    The balanced boost for high impedance headphones is
    now available. With this function on, power output
    under high impedance loads (such as 3000) will be
    increased by 2.5 times over the normal output reaching
    over 100mW, making the the BTR7 more capable of
    driving large over-ear headphones.
