Dual Imported Toroidal Tranformers for Independent Power supply
To isolate power interference and prevent cross-system “interference”, the AS8 Pro employs two Multicomp audiophile grade “Porcupine” toroidal transformers, providing dedicated power channels for the clock system and the switch. This ensures the 10MHz master clock and all clock distribution modules operate enhancing clock precision. It delivers robust and stable power to modules such as the 2.5G/1G main controllers, SFP optical ports, and isolation zones.
Gold-Plated Grounding Terminal
The AS8 Pro is equipped with a dedicated grounding terminal and grounding control switch, designed to provide flexible and pristine grounding management. This minimizes AC ground loop interference and ground noise, significantly enhacing overall audio performance.
The groudning terminal allows the device to be independently grounded, effectively isolated from the AC power ground (mains ground), When connected to a dedicated ground network or high quality audio ground, it prevents high-frequency interference,voltage fluctuations, and ground loop noise typically introduced bt traditional AC grounding,greatly improving background silence and the audio system’s detail reproduction capabilities.
