By combining cutting-edge galvanic isolation, high-precision clocking, and laboratory-grade linear power, the UIP eliminates the digital glare, hiss, and timing errors (jitter) inherent in standard USB outputs from PCs and streamers.

    Key Technical Highlights:

    • True Galvanic Isolation: Utilizing the advanced ADI ADuM4165 chip, the UIP provides up to 5700Vrms of isolation. This physically breaks the ground loop and electrical connection between your noisy computer and your sensitive DAC.

    • OCXO + PLL Reclocking: Features a built-in SC-CUT Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO). Unlike standard filters, the UIP reconstructs the USB data stream with femtosecond-level precision, drastically reducing jitter for a more natural, analog-like sound.

    • Integrated Multi-Stage Linear Power: No external "wall-wart" needed. The UIP houses a custom Talema toroidal transformer and multiple LT3042 + PNP ultra-low noise regulators ($<1\mu V$) to independently power the isolation chip, the clock, and the USB output.

    • High-Speed Compatibility: Supports USB 2.0 High-Speed (480Mbps), ensuring seamless playback for high-resolution formats up to PCM 768kHz and Native DSD512.

    • Master Clock Input: For the ultimate setup, the UIP includes a 10MHz BNC input, allowing you to sync it with an external master clock (like the LHY OCK-2).
