    The CS 518 utilizes a manual start for full control over tonearm placement, paired with a desirable automatic stop function.

    • Manual Start: The user manually places the tonearm on the record, ensuring precision control over tracking position.

    • Automatic Stop/Lift: At the end of the record, the electronic sensor automatically lifts the tonearm and stops the platter, preventing wear on the stylus and minimizing handling risk.

    • Belt Drive System: A low-vibration DC motor drives the platter via a precision belt, effectively isolating the platter from motor noise.
