The Dorpo X300 is an 8K UHD media player designed for high-resolution home theatre and local media playback applications.
It is powered by the Amlogic S928X-K processor, a five-core SoC designed for high-performance video decoding and smooth system operation. The X300 supports 8K@60Hz video output through HDMI 2.1a, providing compatibility with modern ultra-high-definition display systems.
For audio playback, the X300 integrates an AKM4432 DAC, providing analog audio output for users who require dedicated audio connectivity. Digital audio connections include coaxial output, while the device also provides HDMI output for AV systems.
The X300 features a built-in SATA 3.0 hard drive bay, supporting up to 24TB of internal storage (manufacturer specification), allowing users to store and access large local media libraries.
Running on FunPlayUI 2.0 based on Android 11, the X300 supports local media playback, network media access through protocols such as SMB and DLNA, Blu-ray ISO playback, and media library management features including poster wall organization.
